TAFE Information
TAFE (Technical and Further Education) is a government-run system that provides education after high school in vocational areas, like beauty, design, childcare, accounting, business, IT, and many more. While university teaches a broad range of theories, TAFE focuses on specific skills for a particular workplace. TAFE continuously changes course contents through networking with local communities and industry contacts. Also, students can transfer to 2nd or 3rd year of university courses. Intake dates are commonly in February and July.
