We are excited to announce that the Accelerated Nursing program is now open for Onshore international students, commencing on 21 June 2021.

This course offers students the opportunity to complete the first year of the Bachelor of Nursing (Pre-Registration) in an accelerated mode. Upon successful completion, the students will enter their second year of the Bachelor of Nursing in Semester 1, 2022.  

The Accelerated first year is taught in two non-standard Teaching Periods at the Bundoora campus.

Teaching Period 1

Week 27 – Week 38

• Classes start 21 June 2021

• Classes end 10 September 2021

• Exams: 13-23 September 2021

Teaching Period 2

Week 42 – Week 05

• Classes start 11 October 2021

• Classes end 14 January 2022

• Exams: 17-27 January 2022

Important notes:

• The Accelerated Nursing program is not a packaged course.

• The students successfully completing the accelerated first year will not be eligible for an alternate exit.

• This course has a compulsory face-to-face teaching requirement. Thus, the student is required to attend on-campus classes from 21 June 2021.

• Students seeking credit exemptions will not be eligible to apply for this course.

• Students studying Accelerated Nursing program will not be able to transfer into another course at the end of their first year.

• Deferral is not permitted for this Accelerated course.

• There are limited places available for this program. Thus, places will be given on a first-come-first-served basis.
