[Deakin] New 25% COVID Bursary

How students can save 25% on their online to on-campus studies


Deakin University is excited to let you know about new 25% COVID bursary and how it can help students get started on their studies in 2021. This is a great opportunity to motivate students to accept their Deakin offer or apply to study through our online to the on-campus pathway.


Deakin University knows that for many students, experiencing life in Australia and being able to access Deakin’s state-of-the-art facilities is a big part of their international study dreams. While there is still uncertainty about when students will be able to join on campus again, Deakin University recognises that some students may have reservations about commencing their studies online. This is why Deakin University introducing the new COVID bursary in support of our online to the on-campus pathway.


What you need to know


  • The new COVID bursary will help your students save 25% on tuition fees for all units of study completed before they are able to travel and study on campus.

  • No application is required. All offshore international students who accept their offer or apply to study at Deakin through our online to the on-campus pathway in 2021 will be automatically assessed for the scholarship.

  • Where a student is eligible for more than one scholarship or bursary, they will receive whichever is of greater financial benefit to them. If students receive the COVID bursary, they may still be able to receive a different scholarship when they commence their studies on campus.
