VET Course Providers

1. TAFE

TAFE is vocational education and training provider established in each of Australia’s state. TAFE continuously change course contents through networking with local communities and industry contacts so that course materials and trainings are up-to-date. TAFEs are administrated by each state so there are campuses all throughout Australia. Also practical lessons on sites and theoretical lessons are well balanced to provide mix of both theory and practice. Most TAFE provides ELICOS and university pathway programs. This shows the comprehensive range of education that TAFE provides to students. Also, students can transfer to 2nd or 3rd year of university courses. Intake dates are commonly in February and July.

2. Private Colleges

Private colleges are also providers of vocational education and training. However unlike TAFE, private colleges focus on particular areas of study to provide specialised education. Also, because private colleges continuously developed and focused on small area of study, their names are well known to relevant companies. Tuition fee is relatively inexpensive compared to TAFE and course intake dates are much more flexible.
